Vivipilot documentation
The practical path from a blank project to an editable composition, a connected Desktop app and a finished export.
Create your first project
Choose a frame, describe the motion and learn how Vivipilot structures the result.
Set up Desktop
Install a Windows or Linux build and choose between BYOK and Vivipilot Agent.
Connect Cloud
Pair Desktop, understand device limits and sync a paid workspace.
Edit a composition
Work with scenes, the timeline, selectable objects and focused Agent revisions.
Export
Choose a supported resolution, frame rate and transparent format for your plan.
Create your first project
- Open Cloud Studio or Vivipilot Desktop and choose a project frame.
- Describe the subject, intended audience, visual style and the message the animation should communicate.
- Review the generated scenes, then select a scene or object before requesting a focused revision.
- Preview the full timeline and export only after the timing and project frame are correct.
Set up Desktop
Download the current Windows or Linux build from the Desktop page. Free Desktop uses BYOK: add a supported provider key in Settings and keep the project local. Paid users can instead connect their Vivipilot account and select Vivipilot Agent.
Free Desktop has no Cloud or device sync and exports up to 720p at 30 FPS. Your plan determines higher export, storage, history and device limits.
Connect Desktop to Cloud
- In Desktop, open Settings and choose Connect to Vivipilot Cloud.
- Copy the displayed pairing code.
- Sign in at vivipilot.com/desktop/connect, enter the code and approve the device.
- Return to Desktop and choose Vivipilot Agent or BYOK from the Agent selector.
If the device limit is full, open account settings, disconnect an old device and repeat the connection.
Edit a composition
Canvas
Select visible objects and adjust their content or layout without rebuilding the scene.
Timeline
Change scene order and duration, then preview transitions at the playhead.
Agent revisions
Select the smallest relevant scope and describe the change you want.
Version history
Paid Cloud plans retain revision history according to the plan. Desktop keeps local project files.
Export
Open Export, choose a resolution and frame rate allowed by the current plan, then confirm the project aspect ratio and duration. Use MP4/H.264 for ordinary playback. Use WebM with alpha or ProRes 4444 only when you need a transparent video and your plan supports it.
